9 Stunning Restaurants with Sea View in Mykonos
Mykonos, Mykonos! The island that winks at you from every travel magazine cover. And let me tell you, it lives up to the hype (most of the time). But listen, sushi-loving friend (because, let’s be honest, who isn’t?), while Mykonos might have some fancy fusion joints, this isn’t your average beach town.
We’re talking Greek food nirvana in Mykonos, and I’m about to tell you where to find the best restaurants in Mykonos with a view, but not just an average view, a fantastic and romantic sea view!
Imagine yourself with wind-tousled hair and a smile wider than the Aegean Sea, sitting on a terrace overlooking turquoise waters. In your hand? A plate piled high with melt-in-your-mouth moussaka, drizzled with enough olive oil to make your tastebuds do a Greek dance (also called Sirtaki or syrtaki).
That’s the Mykonos magic I’m talking about, darling! Because here’s the thing: Greece does seafood like nobody’s business. The fish practically jumps from the ocean straight onto the grill, and the local ingredients are bursting with sunshine flavor.

So why settle for California rolls or Italian pasta when you can have sun-kissed octopus carpaccio or saganaki that’ll set your tastebuds on fire (in a good way, of course)?
Trust me, ditch the Asian or Italian dreams and embrace the Greek foodie in you. You won’t regret it! (Unless you have a severe aversion to feta cheese, in which case, maybe pack some emergency granola bars.)
Now, let’s get to the good stuff: the restaurants in Mykonos with sea views!

Okay, my lovely, anxious traveler, I know you’re practically itching to get to Mykonos like a puppy who just spotted a squirrel across the street. You’re already picturing yourself sipping cocktails on the beach, snapping Insta-worthy pics, and showing everyone back home how fabulous you are (don’t worry, they already know).
Trust me, I get it. I had the same travel fever before I went. But hold your horses (and your selfie stick) because I’m not here to show you the generic tourist traps.

I’m on a mission to ensure you have the most epic Mykonos experience ever, including stuffing your face with delicious Greek food in the most breathtaking settings. Because let’s be honest, what’s the point of being on an island if you can’t gaze at the sparkling Aegean Sea every chance you get?
You’ll be on a terrace overlooking the turquoise water, with fluffy white clouds drifting by and the scent of fresh seafood filling the air. You’ll take a bite of the most amazing moussaka, and suddenly, you’ll be transported to a Greek goddess fantasy. (Okay, maybe not a goddess, but at least a super-stylish and deliciously-satisfied traveler).
That’s the kind of experience I’m talking about, and I’ve done all the research to make it happen. So, buckle up, my super-organized traveler (by the way, did you already get my free guide to become a super-organized traveler like me to avoid travel anxiety?).
Get ready to discover the best restaurants with sea views in Mykonos that will have you saying “Opa!” (and maybe even “OMG!”).
Just remember to pack your appetite (and your swimsuit, because you might just want to take a dip after all that fantastic food).

If you are looking for dinner, this can be the perfect place to have a wonderful and typical Greek dinner, with the most original recipes and more.
I like this place because it looks like a local tavern, but the service is more attentive and elegant.

Travel Safety Tip: As soon as you book your next adventure, buy good travel insurance in case you need to “unfortunately” delay, extend, or cancel your trip. I usually find good deals on VISITORSCOVERAGE for up to 1 month of trip length and SAFETYWING for longer trips. They are insurance companies that cover everything related to your travel.

5. Thea Estiatorio:
Thea is a beautiful terrace restaurant where you can breathe the summer spirit. From the inside atmosphere, where to find some shade during lunchtime to avoid sunburn, to the beach view (Platys Yalos), the food is delicious; they offer both meat and fish, all fresh and cooked perfectly.
Thea is the perfect place to take a break from the sun for lunch or to visit for dinner when it becomes a romantic spot.
See Thea Estiatorio opening time and menu.
Address: Πλατύς Γιαλός 846 00, Greece (to the right side of Platys Yalos beach while looking at the sea).

6. Katerina’s Restaurant & Cocktail Bar:
Located in the famous Mykonos Little Venice, Katerina’s Restaurant & Cocktail Bar is one of the bars right on the waterfront; you can enter only from the back entrance (or you can try to swim till there and jump up to the balcony). This is another place where you can stop any day and night (almost anytime).
You can stop here for a coffee in the morning or maybe for dinner after a romantic sunset boat trip. They have a little balcony with only three tables on the sea (you have to book it in advance if you want to sit there obviously) with a spectacular view. To your left, you will see the famous windmill of Mykonos and, to the right, a beautiful sunset.
They prepare many local dishes and also some pasta or rice with fish. Cocktails are delicious, and a DJ is set to dance all night.
See Katerina’s Restaurant & Cocktail Bar opening time and menu.
Address: Epar.Od. Mikonou 8, Άγιοι Ανάργυροι 864 00, Greece

7. Roca Cookery Restaurant:
Roca Cookery is one of the best restaurants where you can admire the Old Harbour from above. They serve local dishes plus some pasta and risotto with fish. Their dishes are made of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and trust me. You won’t be disappointed.
See Roca Cookery Restaurant’s opening time and menu.
Address: Old Port Yacht Marina, Mikonos 846 00, Greece

8. Nikolas Taverna:
Nikolas Taverna is a lovely family-run taverna on the beach that opened in 1967, and it is precisely the kind of taverna on the beach where everyone should eat while exploring Greece. They serve wonderfully cooked homemade local dishes made with ingredients they grow in their field, the meat is from their farm, and they also fish the fish they serve you.
This taverna is part of my article on where to eat on a budget in Mykonos, so if you are looking to save some money while on the island, you should check it out. Nikolas Taverna is a little unmissable gem in Mykonos to try, love, and tell everybody about it.

9. Baboulas Ouzeri:
I found this place just by strolling around the Old Harbour, looking for some Greek souvenirs to take home. We left our car in the car park at the north end of the main town, and as soon as I saw this place, I went to one of the waiters to book a table. Of course, I asked to get one of the tables on the edge, near the sea, to admire the town and the marvelous sunset.
Oh, guys, it was so romantic, and the food was excellent, with simple local dishes to love at every bite; the service was very attentive, and prices were a bit cheaper than the restaurant in the middle of the main town. If I ever return to Mykonos, I will return to this place for dinner.
See Baboulas Ouzeri’s opening time and menu.
Address: Μύκονος 846 00, Greece. On the north edge of the Old Harbour.
