But I am not here to tell you which is the best place to eat sushi in Mykonos (even if I love sushi). I prefer to write an article about the best restaurants in Mykonos where to eat local food.
I don't see the point in eating sushi in Greece when there is so much to try about the delicious Greek cuisine.
You are in Greece, after all, EAT GREEK FOOD!
Trust me, it is so good that you will love it.
Also, the fish is so fresh in Greece, it goes straight from the sea to the grill, as it is the best way to eat it (in Greece).

Only a few meters from the Platis Yalos Beach, this lovely restaurant enjoys delicious Greek food while looking at the sea.
They have meat, fish, rice, and pasta, and delicious desserts.

Located in the Old Harbour of Mykonos, this is where to start or finish your day.
They serve delicious Greek breakfast to get full of energy to explore the island. Delicious lunch to enjoy between some morning shopping and an afternoon swim.
If you are looking for dinner, this can be the perfect place to have a wonderful and typical Greek dinner, with the most original recipes and more.
I like this place because it looks like a local tavern, but the service is more attentive and elegant.

3. Noa Greek Restaurant:
You cannot miss having at least one dinner at Noa. The food is typical Greek. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the service is impeccable. They have an extensive selection of wine to choose from.
The most famous dishes are lamb chops, souvlaki, octopus, and calamari. Try their famous baklava, it is one of the best you will try in Mykonos.

4. Yialo Yialo:
Yialo Yialo is a restaurant with many sunbeds on one of the best beaches in Mykonos, Platis Yalos Beach.
For 30 euros you can get two sunbeds and an umbrella.
Their restaurant offers delicious and fresh fish. They prepare many local dishes, and everything is delicious.
This is the perfect spot to have lunch at the beach or for a romantic dinner, maybe after spending the day on a boat tour.
Looking at the stars while enjoying the fresh sea breeze of the night is an experience we all should do while on a Greek island.

5. Joanna's Nikos Place:
A classic Greek Taverna located on a beautiful beach in Mykonos. A simple place to feel at home while eating delicious Greek food and watching a stunning sunset.
Located on Megali Ammos Beach, it is famous among locals and tourists who keep returning to Mykonos and being Joanna's regular.
Food is well prepared and always fresh, and prices are very reasonable to be in Mykonos.

6. Thea Estiatorio:
Thea is a beautiful terrace restaurant where to breathe the summer spirit. From the inside atmosphere, from the beach view (Platys Yalos), the food is delicious; they have both meat and fish, all fresh and cooked perfectly.
Thea is the perfect place to take a
break from the sun for lunch or to visit for dinner when it becomes a romantic spot.

7. Katerina's Restaurant & Cocktail Bar:
Located in the famous Mykonos Little Venice, Katerina's Restaurant & Cocktail Bar is one of the bars right on the waterfront, you can enter only from the back entrance (or you can try to swim till there and jump up to the balcony).
This is another place where you can stop any day and night (almost anytime).
You can stop here for a coffee in the morning or maybe for dinner after a romantic sunset boat trip.
They have a little balcony with only three tables on the sea (you have to book it in advance if you want to sit there obviously) with a spectacular view.
To your left, you will see the famous windmill of Mykonos and, to the right, a beautiful sunset.
They prepare many local dishes and also some pasta or rice with fish.
Cocktails are delicious, and there is also a Dj set to dance all night.

8. Roca Cookery Restaurant:
Roca Cookery is one of the best restaurants where to admire the Old Harbour from above. They serve local dishes plus some pasta and risotto with fish.

Nikolas Taverna is a lovely family-run taverna on the beach that opened in 1967, and it is precisely the kind of taverna on the beach where everyone should eat while exploring Greece.
They serve wonderfully cooked homemade local dishes made with ingredients they grow in their field, the meat is from their farm, and they also fish the fish they serve you.

10. Baboulas Ouzeri:
I found this place just by strolling around the Old Harbour, looking for some Greek souvenirs to take home. We left our car in the car park at the north end of the main town, and as soon as I saw this place, I went to one of the waiters to book a table.
Of course, I asked to get one of the tables on the edge, near the sea, to admire the town and the marvelous sunset.
Oh, guys, it was so romantic, and the food was excellent, with simple local dishes to love at every bite; the service was very attentive, and prices were a bit cheaper than the restaurant in the middle of the main town.
If I ever go back to Mykonos, I will go back to this place for dinner.
